How it’s Played

  • Predators

    Vicious carnivores attack your Herd each turn, threatening your dinosaurs! From pack-hunting dromeosaurs to titanic apex predators, you never know what’s going to be prowling the game trail!

  • Prey

    Hapless prey-animals distract predators away from your Herd! Sacrifice these poor critters to divert carnivores away from your own dinosaurs and survive another day!

  • Herds

    Your Herd is your home - each player leads a herd of dinosaurs, seeking to survive until the end of the game. Each Herd has unique defenses and adaptations to help them thrive in the hostile, prehistoric landscape.

Protect your herd! The goal of HERD: A Dinosaur Tabletop Game is to keep your herd safe from rapacious predators during the Mesozoic Age. Each player has a Herd card - Triceratops, Parasaurolophus, Brontosaurus, Stegosaurus, or Ankylosaurus. Each turn, Predator and Prey cards will be drawn, and players must be able to fend off the attacks of terrifying mesozoic monsters before their herd is picked off! Each turn, the Extinction Clock ticks down, when it reaches zero, you’ve won…or rather avoided being eaten.
